Relaxing and rejuvenating micro-needling treatment
The treatment begins with a thorough cleanse and microdermabrasion to remove dirt and dead skins cells. A chilled micro probe then cools the skin all over which feels both refreshing and relaxing.
Next the Microchannelling Roller (containing tiny needles) is carefully and swiftly moved across your skin.
“The micro-needling is relatively painless due to the frozen oxygen with only a slight prickly sensation in sensitive areas,” says Laura.
This micro-needling opens hundreds of miniscule channels allowing the extraordinary Infusion Solution (a powerful blend of Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid and PhytoCellTec - Argan Stem Cell extract) to be delivered deep in to the epidermis for maximum results.
Your pores are then blasted with exhilarating cold oxygen which plumps, soothes and tightens the skin.
Laura continues, “Combining the Microchannelling Roller with the Infusion Solution kick-starts the cell regeneration process; new collagen and elastin are formed and the skin rapidly heals itself whilst the dynamic ingredients aid the repairing process and encourage new cell turnover.”
Finally a cooling, rehydrating face mask is applied to calm any mild irritation.
“The roller is not too painful, you are just a bit red afterwards then a cooling mask is applied which is sublime and whilst the mask is working you are given a neck and shoulder massage”
Minimal downtime
The downtime is minimal. Depending on the micro roller selected, you may look a little pink and your skin may feel warmer and tighter, however any redness will reduce by 50% within an hour or two and normally only slight redness will remain the next day.
“Avoid any products containing Alpha Hydroxy Acids and Vitamin A for the first two days and wear SPF throughout this period too. Avoid sunbeds, sauna, exercise and swimming pools.
“And don’t wear make-up for 12 hours following your treatment; keep your complexion hydrated with a gentle moisturiser - ideally containing hyaluronic acid to boost the results,” suggests Laura.
COMCIT: immediate youthful results which last
Results are evident from the first treatment – your skin will be smoother, firmer and noticeably dewier, however the full glowing, youthful results will be revealed after 14 days.
For complete skin rejuvenation a course of 6 treatments is recommended with a minimum of 2 weeks between them, followed by a one-off maintenance treatment every 3 months.
